Frequently asked questions

Why not just go taller than 1350?
Instagram crops anything taller than a 4:5 ratio back to 1080×1350 in the feed. Going taller just throws away pixels.
Will the portrait still show fully on the profile grid?
No. The profile grid always uses square thumbnails, so the top and bottom of a 1080×1350 portrait get cropped on your grid preview.
Is this the same as Pinterest portrait?
Close but not identical. Pinterest prefers 1000×1500 (2:3); use the Pinterest preset for that platform.
