How much should I tip?+
In the US, 15–20% of the pre-tax bill is standard for table service. Other countries vary — in many of Europe, a small round-up or 5–10% is appropriate, and in some countries tipping isn't expected at all.
Should I tip on the pre-tax or post-tax amount?+
